For the monthly fee waiver, we count all ACH direct deposits that post to your account during the account statement period, excluding the last day of the period. ACH direct deposits that post on the last day of the statement period are counted in the following statement period.
To qualify for the monthly fee with Online Statements for LifeGreen Checking or 62+ LifeGreen Checking, or to avoid the monthly Paper Statement Fee for the LifeGreen eAccess Account or LifeGreen Checking for Students, as applicable, you must be a Barclays Online Banking customer who receives only Online Statements for the account. To get started with Online Statements, simply enroll in Barclays Online Banking or the Barclays mobile app. You must have a valid Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number in order to enroll in Barclays Online Banking. If you are an existing Online Banking customer, log in and select the Online Statements link in the top navigation under Accounts; or log in to the Barclays mobile app, select the eligible Barclays account, and tap the Statements tab. Changes in applicable fees will become effective beginning with the end date of the statement period in which Online Statements are activated or cancelled, as the case may be.
For the average monthly balance, we divide the sum of the ending posted balance for each day in the statement period by the number of days in the statement period. Please note that your account statement only shows ending posted balances and an average balance reflected by those ending posted balances. The ending balance for any day is the opening balance for the next day.
Posted to your eAccess Account during the statement period for debit card activity and posted in the most recent billing cycle for your credit card account for credit card activity.

Barclays CDs are uncertificated time deposit accounts and subject to the terms and conditions of the Barclays Deposit Account Agreement and other related disclosures, terms, and conditions.
If you have a LifeGreen Savings account and do not have a Barclays checking account, or if you close your London Investment checking account, Barclays reserves the right to convert your LifeGreen Savings account to a Savings account. We will notify you in advance if we convert your account.
To qualify for a LifeGreen Savings Account, you must have a Barclays checking account. The minimum opening deposit amount for a Barclays checking account is £50. The minimum opening deposit amount for opening a LifeGreen Savings Account is £50 (or £5 in branch if you set up a monthly automatic savings transfer from a London Investment checking account). An automatic transfer of funds of at least £10 from your Barclays checking account to your LifeGreen Savings account in at least 10 of any of the 12 calendar months that precede the month of your account opening anniversary (your “Account Anniversary Month”) is required to earn a 1% annual savings bonus. The annual savings bonus is based on the average monthly balance for the 12 calendar months that precede your Account Anniversary Month. The annual savings bonus will be paid to your LifeGreen Savings account by the second business day of the month following your Account Anniversary Month. To receive the annual savings bonus, your LifeGreen Savings account must be open on the date the annual savings bonus is paid. Maximum annual savings bonus of £100. You are responsible for any tax due on any amount received under this offer. Fees could reduce earnings on the account. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for the LifeGreen Savings account and the LifeGreen Preferred Checking (other London Investment checking accounts do not pay interest) account is based upon balance and may change at any time. One account holder must be age of majority in the state where the account is held.
In order to be eligible for and to maintain a Barclays Now Savings account, you must be the primary cardholder on a Barclays Now Card and you must keep the Now Card open and in active status. If your Now Card is closed or becomes inactive for any reason, or if we otherwise determine that you are not the primary cardholder on a Now Card, we may convert your Barclays Now Savings account to a Barclays Savings account. You may open and maintain no more than one (1) Barclays Now Savings account at a time as primary cardholder. If at any time you are the primary owner on more than one (1) Barclays Now Savings account, we may convert any or all of your excess Barclays Now Savings accounts to Barclays Savings accounts. We will notify you in advance if we convert your Barclays Now Savings account to a Barclays Savings account. Please see pricing schedule for full details. Barclays Now Savings Builder Bonus: Each month a deposit of funds of at least £5 is made to your Barclays Now Savings account AND you make no withdrawals from your Barclays Now Savings account during that same month, you will receive a £1 credit to your Barclays Now Savings account. The bonus will be paid by the second business day of the month following each month the bonus is earned. To receive the builder bonus, your account must be open on the date the builder bonus is paid. London Investment Rewards programs allow you to earn rewards for qualifying purchases on certain Barclays credit cards. APRs on credit cards with rewards may be higher than those without rewards.
Rewards are not earned for any purchases of items that can be traded right away for cash (such as wire transfers, money orders, traveler’s checks, lottery tickets or casino chips), or any other cash advances, balance transfers, fees, interest charges, or unauthorized or fraudulent purchases.
Additional cash back on entertainment, dining, gas and grocery store purchases are awarded based on the merchant category code (MCC) assigned to the merchant where you made the purchase. Barclays does not control which MCC a merchant is assigned; it is based on the primary good or service the merchant sells. If a merchant’s MCC does not match the MCC for one of these categories, 1% cash back will be awarded for the purchase.
This Program is a bonus available in connection with certain Barclays deposit accounts. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for currently offered interest-bearing consumer deposit accounts whose balances are used to calculate the Total Average Deposit Balance is available at www.Barclays.com.
To be eligible for our unsecured loans or lines of credit, you must have a Barclays deposit relationship (checking, savings, MM or CD) on which you are an owner that has been open for at least six months. You may apply over the phone, or at your local branch.
